All orders from AmmoDyn.com are shipped via FedEx, our trusted carrier for the secure and compliant transport of ammunition. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and paid by the customer at the time of purchase.
Delivery Timeframes
Most orders are delivered within 5 business days from the date of shipment, depending on the destination address and transit distance. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
Shipping Restrictions & Compliance
We ship ammunition only within the United States and strictly in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Certain states, cities, and localities impose restrictions or require additional verification before ammunition can be shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations in their jurisdiction before placing an order.
California Shipments
All ammunition shipped to consumers in California must be delivered to a DOJ-licensed ammunition vendor or FFL dealer for in-person pickup. A valid government-issued photo ID will be required, and the receiving vendor will conduct a California DOJ ammunition background check prior to release.
Export Compliance
Ammunition may not be exported, directly or indirectly, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). AmmoDyn does not ship internationally or to any prohibited U.S. territories.
Hazardous Materials Handling
Ammunition shipments are classified as hazardous materials under U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 171–180) and will be packaged, labeled, and shipped in compliance with these standards. FedEx requires an adult signature (21+) upon delivery, and a valid government-issued photo ID must be presented to receive the shipment.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and federal holidays.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) may be processed the following business day.

AmmoDyn, Corp. | Ammunition Return & Refund Policy
All Sales Final
All ammunition sales made through AmmoDyn.com are final. Ammunition cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged due to safety concerns, product integrity requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
Once ammunition leaves our facility, it cannot be accepted back for resale. This policy is consistent with:
Hazardous materials handling and transportation laws
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulatory framework under Title 27, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 478 – Commerce in Firearms and Ammunition
Under 27 CFR Part 478, ammunition is classified as a regulated commodity requiring strict adherence to secure handling, storage, and transfer protocols. While the ATF does not mandate a formal return process for ammunition, the regulatory framework—including:
27 CFR § 478.41 (Licensing)
27 CFR § 478.99 (Prohibited Sales)
27 CFR § 478.125 (Recordkeeping)
—places an obligation on licensed sellers to maintain complete control over the integrity and chain of custody of all ammunition in commerce. Accepting returns would compromise this chain of custody and could result in regulatory or safety violations.
Additionally, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Parts 171–180) classify most ammunition as hazardous material for shipping purposes. Once shipped to a customer, it cannot lawfully or safely be re-entered into the retail supply chain without full reinspection and compliance procedures — which are not operationally feasible in a consumer returns context.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for inspecting all ammunition shipments immediately upon receipt.
Any claims for damage, defects, or shipment errors must be reported to our Customer Service team within 72 hours of delivery to be eligible for review under this policy.
Failure to report within this timeframe may void any eligibility for remedy.
Exceptions
We understand that, in rare cases, shipping errors or product defects may occur. If you receive ammunition that is damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped:
Contact our Customer Service team promptly.
Provide photos or documentation to assist in evaluation.
Each situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Where required by applicable law, a replacement or refund will be issued. Replacement is the default remedy unless otherwise mandated by law or determined appropriate by AmmoDyn.
Refund Method
When a refund is issued under the terms of this policy:
It will be processed to the original method of payment used for the purchase.
Refunds will typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
California-Specific Requirements
For California customers receiving defective or mis-shipped ammunition, returns or exchanges must still comply with California DOJ ammunition vendor processes. This may require the defective product to be returned via a licensed ammunition vendor or FFL before a replacement can be issued.
Export Compliance
Ammunition will not be accepted for return if shipped outside the United States or handled in violation of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). No refunds or replacements will be processed for shipments in violation of U.S. export laws.
Force Majeure
AmmoDyn shall not be responsible for refund delays or replacement delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, carrier disruptions, government actions, or supply chain interruptions.
Legal Compliance Statement
This policy complies with:
ATF regulations — 27 CFR Part 478
DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations — 49 CFR Parts 171–180
All applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale, transportation, and handling of ammunition.
Where a state or local jurisdiction mandates a different process for defective or mis-shipped ammunition, we will comply with those requirements.
